Introduction
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping families and children thrive. I have experience working with adults, children, and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and many other disorders. I have been living here in the US since 2011, but I am originally from Guatemala (I speak both English and Spanish fluently). I have also been trained extensively in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and filial therapy. For the last six years, I have worked in community agencies and at local schools, providing individual and group therapy to children, teens, and parents/caregivers. As a dance instructor and writer, I also enjoy implementing movement, dance, journaling, and the arts to assist clients in their healing journey.
