Hello! First off I want to say how brave you are for being here. I know the journey of finding someone to talk to can seem scary or even produce some feelings of anxiety but with me, you are in charge of your own journey!
My name is Darlene Riveron and I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida. I was born and raised in Miami, FL and I’m a proud Latina. I am fluent in English and Spanish and what we call in Miami: Spanglish. I am a proud Frenchie dog momma and I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures in my free time. I attended Nova Southeastern University (Go Sharks!) where I graduated with my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021.
Together as a team, we will identify triggers, work on self-awareness, and create a tailored plan to help cope with daily and past struggles. I have worked in various settings including schools, classrooms, virtual therapy, community mental health centers, and private practice. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, school-related issues, stress, self-esteem issues, adjustment disorders, life transitions, and family conflicts.
I am here to support you and guide you to your goals and can help you use strategies to navigate your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical reactions more effectively. You are not alone in this journey.
