Dr. Ayana Walls
Introduction
My name is Dr. Ayana Walls and I provide therapy to individuals ages 8-56 who struggle with mental health issues, including trauma, women’s issues, depression, anxiety, sexual identity, childhood disorders (e.g., oppositional defiance disorder), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and eating disorder. In addition, I am an LGBTQIA+ community ally. I value and advocate for diversity (culture and thought), compassion, and acceptance irrespective of person or environment. This proactive and inclusive stance was cultivated in the U.S. Navy which transitioned into being a Clinical Psychologist. To date, my clinical exposure in a community mental health clinic, forensic clinic, and a prestigious residential facility, Clementine Pinecrest, for eating disorders. Historical experience includes administration of Psychological Evaluations in forensic, school, and community mental health clinics for adults and children. My purpose is to assist others in the discovery of a new sense of self, healing, and ability to thrive in life.
