Meet our Student Interns

Claudia Kra

Claudia Kra

Hi, I’m Claudia. I am originally from the Washington, D.C. area and I am currently a graduate student at Nova Southeastern University, receiving my Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy. I’m completing my practicum and internship as I work toward licensure under the supervision of Erica Zambon. I bring a systemic perspective to my work, paying close attention to how relationships, family dynamics, and environments shape each person’s experiences. I take a strength-based approach, helping clients recognize and utilize their inner resources as they navigate challenges and move toward growth. My goal is to create a collaborative space where clients feel supported and empowered. Before beginning my training as a therapist, I worked as an elementary school teacher and also built a private tutoring and college consulting practice. Those experiences gave me the opportunity to work closely with children, teens, young adults, and families, and they continue to influence the way I listen, connect, and encourage growth in therapy. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading at the beach, cooking with fresh ingredients, traveling, and being with family and friends!

I hold a bachelor’s degree in General Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Barry University. My long-term goal is to earn a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, as I am passionate about continuing my academic and professional journey in the mental health field. While I am still exploring potential areas of specialization, I am deeply committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals of all ages through my future clinical work.
