Nadine Nord, LCSW
Introduction
My name is Nadine Nord, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and proud to be a new member of Caring Therapists of Broward. I began my career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2009, working in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice. Those years deepened my passion for supporting individuals and families navigating grief, illness, and loss. Becoming a social worker allowed me to continue that journey, offering compassionate, heart-centered support to caregivers and clients coping with long-term illness, emotional pain, and life transitions.
I specialize in grief work with adults and older adults through individual therapy. My approach includes Talk Therapy and integrates various techniques such as Strengths Perspective, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Gestalt, and trauma-informed narrative work. I support clients experiencing grief from death, relationship endings, caregiving, pregnancy loss, health changes, and retirement, often accompanied by anxiety or depression. My Christian faith grounds my practice in hope, and I offer services in English, Haitian Creole, and French—available in person or virtually.
