Caring Therapists of Broward & Palm Beach is a group practice with six locations. Our Broward offices are located in Davie, Pembroke Pines, & Fort Lauderdale, and our Palm Beach offices are located in Wellington & Palm Beach Gardens. We offer individual, couples, and family counseling. We utilize evidenced-based practices including CBT, EMDR, DBT, Gottman Method, Play Therapy, TF-CBT, and Emotionally Focused Couples Counseling. We work with children ages 3 and up through adulthood. We offer psychological evaluations and assessments, including forensic evaluations, ADHD testing, Autism testing, psychoeducational evaluations, substance abuse evaluations, and immigration evaluations. We accept most major insurances.

We are currently hiring full-time and part-time fully licensed independent contractors and employees at Caring Therapists!

Requirements 

• Works with children, ages 4-18 and/or couples
• Willing to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Current State of Florida license as a Ph.D., PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC. We will accept Registered Interns and Post-Doctoral Candidates.
• Willing to work 15 hours per week or more
• Minimum 1-year post-independent licensure is a plus
• Paneled with insurance a plus
• Prior private practice experience is a plus

Position Responsibilities

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
• Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, evidenced-based treatment, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
• Involve and advise family members when appropriate
• Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary
• Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality
• Maintain proper licenses, certifications and follow professional guidelines, ethical standards
• Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Collaborate with Caring Therapists administrative staff and management to exceed best practices and grow our organization
