Amanda Landry, LMHC shares her mental health journey
My real journey began in June 2014 when I decided I wanted to make some real-life changes. I learned that I carried around the false beliefs that I wasn't good enough, I couldn't have the things I wanted in life, and thought settling was my only option. I struggled with my self-esteem and self-value. Deciding to do personal work was a big decision and something I had been putting off for at least three years. After ending one chapter of my life, I knew I was ready to conquer the next, or so I thought. I was faced with challenging my false beliefs and conquering my fears. Although these things didn't come easy at first, with much practice and support, I have changed those old beliefs. The personal work I have done gave me the push I needed to start my private practice, where I can give my clients the best version of myself, teach them about their own limiting beliefs and how to be empowered.
