How to Avoid Living a Life of Regret
1. Take the bull by the horns
You are responsible for your life and the decisions you make, take control of your life and start making decisions that best support you.2. Do what you want
Seriously! Stop listening to other people and start listening to yourself. Trust your gut; it’s there for a reason.3. Explore, explore, explore
The best way to figure stuff out in life is to explore all of your options. Travel to new places. Try new foods. Buy an outfit outside of your comfort zone. Go, do it now!4. Don’t let fear hold you back
There’s a great book called “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyways”. If fear is holding you back, read this book today!5. Find your passion, either in work or through hobbies
Do what you love, somewhere in your life. If you love hockey but you aren’t destined to be in the NHL, play on the weekends with your friends. If you love to write, start a blog and see where it takes you. Or quit the job you hate to pursue the job you love.6. Get an awesome companion
Find a significant other that makes you truly happy and someone who supports you 100% in your journey of living an amazing life.7. Forgive yourself for the stuff you’ve done
If you have regrets from the past then forgive yourself for them and move on.8. Take chances
Yes, do this today. Step outside of your comfort zone and do things that make you feel awkward and excited all at the same time. Skydiving anyone?9. Eat dessert
No, not every day and not every meal but eat the damn piece of cheesecake if you want it. No one is on their deathbed thinking, if only I ate less dessert.10. Express your creative side
We all have a creative side, it just looks different in everyone. Find ways to express it on a regular basis.
