Palm Beach Gardens’ Newest Mental Health Practice

Palm Beach Gardens’ newest mental health practice is opening in November 2022. Caring Therapists is expanding to it’s third location in Palm Beach county. We’re excited to begin seeing clients in our Palm Beach Gardens office and connecting with the community. We believe in strong communities and look forward to attending events, supporting local organizations and networking with other professionals.

At Caring Therapists, we offer a variety of mental health services, including individual therapy, child and adolescent counseling, psychological testing, couple’s counseling, forensic evaluations, substance abuse evaluations and psychoeducational testing. Our specialties include: anxiety, depression, play therapy, trauma, substance use, LGBTQ+ issues, EMDR, and Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couple’s Counseling. We offer a competitive private pay rate and accept most major insurances.

David Landry, PsyD

Dr. Landry is a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over a decade of experience working with clients of all ages. Dr. Landry works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Personality, Developmental Disorders, Emotional Disturbance, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Substance Use, and Trauma and PTSD. He specializes in Clinical and Forensic psychology including court-ordered evaluations, outpatient sex offender specific treatment and evaluation, parental fitness evaluations, severe and pervasive mental illness, personality disorders, correctional mental health, competency evaluations, psychological testing, substance abuse evaluation and treatment, and expert witness and consultation.

 

Nathalie Stepp, PsyD

Dr. Stepp is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist working with children and adults who have a wide variety of diagnoses. She has extensive experience in medical, correctional and psychiatric settings, and conducts school, forensic, and neuropsychological evaluations. Some of the expert services Dr. Stepp provides are as follows: Fitness for Duty Evaluations, Psychological Assessments, Competency to Proceed Evaluations, Educational Evaluations, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity, Intellectual (IQ)Evaluations/Testing; including determination of gifted and learning disabilities.

 

Suquoya Tyler, LMHC

Suquoya Tyler is a Licensed Mental Health Counseling. She has been a clinician for over seven years and has had the privilege of serving diverse populations while treating various disorders including: Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, PTSD, Substance Abuse, etc. She has received formal training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and various other evidenced based treatment modalities. Her main goal as a clinician is to form a strong therapeutic alliance in order to foster a safe environment to go below the surface and do deep healing work.

 

 

Romina Barrientos, LMHC

Romina Barrientos is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is passionate about helping families and children thrive. She enjoys working with new moms, expecting moms, and blended families. She also loves helping teens and parents/caregivers. She was born and raised in Guatemala and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. She has been trained extensively in trauma-focused cognitive therapy, play therapy, and filial therapy. For the last six years, she worked in community agencies and at local schools providing individual, family, and group therapy to children, teens, and parents/caregivers.

 

Alyssa Kerrigan, Psy.D.

Dr. Alyssa Kerrigan is a postdoctoral school psychologist. Her goal as a practitioner is to serve as an advocate for your child’s needs. She enjoys collaborating with and empowering parents through positive techniques and strategies that help them to better understand challenging behavior. She conducts psychological assessments and psychoeducational evaluations for concerns such as ADHD, Developmental Delays, Learning Disabilities, Giftedness, and autism spectrum disorder. She also provides supportive counseling and evidence-based interventions for school aged-children with socio-emotional difficulties.

 

 

Gila Kolodny

Gila Kolodny is a Licensed School Psychologist working with children and teenagers with a wide variety of diagnoses. She attended Touro College in New York City for her training and received two masters degrees in School Psychology and Mental Health Counseling.  Gila has over 15 years of experience working in schools and clinical settings.

She believes in a collaborative approach and including students as much as possible in their path to success. She conducts evaluations in order to diagnose Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Gifted abilities.
