I have worked in different treatment settings from community based care with children to outpatient substance abuse with adults. I currently work with adolescents, children and adults.
My specialty is providing support to parents in navigating the different developmental stages of their children. Parenting is not one size fits all; you might be a single parent, an alienated parent, a parent questioning divorce, or a parent in a supportive marriage, but struggling with behavioral issues. I believe in the importance of exploring our own childhood and life experiences which can be impacting our relationships. I utilize a mixture of couples and individual therapy to address issues, while drawing from different evidenced-based interventions such as DBT, CBT, Client Centered, Solution Focused and Systems theories. I am a Gottman Level I trained therapist which allows me to assist couples in developing a healthy relationship and communicate through conflict.
Wellington’s newest mental health practice is looking forward to being a part of the community. We service all of Palm Beach County, including Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Loxahatchee, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth.
