Wellington’s Newest Mental Health Practice

Wellington’s newest mental health practice opened on October 1st, 2019.  The new practice is called Caring Therapists of Palm Beach.  This is new office associated with the successful practice in Davie, Florida called Caring Therapists of Broward.  Davie is very similar to Wellington in that both are popular equestrian areas for their respective counties. We’re excited to begin seeing people in our Wellington office and connecting with the community.  We believe in strong communities and look forward to attending events, supporting local organizations and networking with other professionals. At Caring Therapists of Palm Beach, we offer a variety of mental health services, including individual therapy, child and adolescent counseling, psychological testing, couple’s counseling, sex therapy, forensic evaluations, substance abuse evaluations and educational testing.  Our specialties include: anxiety, depression, play therapy, trauma, EMDR, and Emotional Focused Couple’s Counseling. Amanda Patterson, LMHC, CAP, NCC

I’m Amanda Patterson, the practice owner, and I’m excited to work in Wellington. I love working with young adults, children and teens with feelings of anxiety and depression.  I work with couple’s that are working on creating better communication and more harmony in their marriage.   I utilize a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, stress management, increasing self-worth, inner child work, incorporation of meditation, mind/body connection, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy, assertiveness training, mood management, anxiety reduction, empowerment and work/life balance. 

Dr. David Landry, PsyD

David Landry, Psy.D is a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist in Broward and Palm Beach Counties with over a decade of experience working with clients of all ages. He specializes in Clinical and Forensic psychology including court-ordered evaluations, outpatient sex offender specific treatment and evaluation, parental fitness evaluations, severe and pervasive mental illness, personality disorders, correctional mental health, competency evaluations, psychological testing, substance abuse evaluation and treatment, and expert witness and consultation.

Dr. Nathalie Stepp, PsyD

Dr. Stepp is a licensed clinical psychologist working with children and adults who have a wide variety of diagnoses. She has extensive experience in medical, correctional and psychiatric settings, and conducts school, forensic, and neuropsychological evaluations. Some of the expert services Dr. Stepp provides are as follows: Fitness for Duty Evaluations, Psychological Assessments, Competency to Proceed Evaluations, Educational Evaluations, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity, Intellectual (IQ)Evaluations/Testing; including determination of gifted and learning disabilities.

Altagracia Andre, LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist fluent in French and Creole who works with individuals, couples and families seeking changes to overcome challenges in their lives. As someone who focuses on the therapeutic alliance as the basis for change, I believe therapy is a collaborative process and have been a fanatic of client centered work and feedback. I am committed to supporting my clients through their journey of self discovery, healing and growth.

Diana Rousso, LMHC

Diana Rousso is an LMHC, graduated with a Master in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Diana is bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) Mental Health Counselor with 18 years of experience in psychological and emotional wellness. Diana specializes in Mood disorders such as Depression, and Anxiety. Diana aims to provide specialized care in the areas of parent-child relationship, parent-child attachments, parental alienation, life milestones, life transitions, daily issues, work/career/family-related stress, families going through a divorce, single parenthood issues, lack of assertiveness, and low self-esteem,
