What are the benefits you see from online counseling?

A 2018 study has confirmed that online counseling for depression and anxiety has been proven acceptable, effective, and a practical form of health care. Research consistently shows that online counseling is effective for a client’s mental health. A major component of therapy involves the relationship between a therapist and you. Online counseling fosters and develops that relationship.

Hi, I’m Sheria, a registered mental health counselor in West Palm Beach, Florida. I earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have completed a clinical internship as a mental health therapist at Palm Beach Atlantic University Student Counseling Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). I counsel individuals, couples, and families. I offer an individualized and integrative therapeutic approach with clients of all ages. Therapy is facilitated for individuals experiencing self-esteem issues, grief and loss, unresolved emotions, past traumatic experiences, addictions and substance use, mood disorders (anxiety and depression), spirituality, and relationship issues.
