Hello! I’m glad that you found my page and are taking an important step on the road to healing for yourself or a loved one.
I am Stephonia Llewellyn, a passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), listening ear, and therapist in Davie dedicated to helping children and adolescents (6-17 years), as well as young adults, who may be struggling with a variety of life and mental health challenges. Practicing therapy for four years in South Florida, I have extensive experience successfully providing a range of mental health services to a diverse population of individuals and families including African-American, Hispanic, and Caribbean clients.

In clinical practice I utilize several evidence-based techniques personalized to meet the needs of those seeking help such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Adlerian therapy, Solution-Focused Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. While one or several of these methods may be implemented during therapy, my goals remain consistently centered on assisting clients in thoughtful reflection of life choices and experiences which have contributed to emotional trauma, supporting clients in liberation from these emotional wounds, and establishing a safe space for healing and holistic wellbeing.
