My name is Katie Ising and I am a Social Work intern graduating in December with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I am passionate about mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relationship health. I love learning and exploring different healing modalities and I am not afraid to think outside of the box to find creative solutions for my clients. My goal is for my clients to feel empowered to create the life they desire.
Over the past several years I have spent time working with children and families and with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. I love working with clients going through major life changes and transitions including graduation/career, relationship/marriage, infertility, parenting, divorce, stepparenting, and loss of a loved one.
A little about me…
For me, feeling balanced and healthy comes from the things I love; traveling to new places, reading a great book, having an amazing meal with people I love, or spending the day at the beach. I grew up taking dance lessons and movement remains an important part of my daily self-care routine. I am also a proud stepmom and dog mom.
