Jeymarie Guerra is a bilingual (Spanish and English) licensed mental health counselor; who graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2016 with her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. Jeymarie has 5 years of experience in helping clients address concerns including: ADHD, Autism, depression, anxieties, and behavior reduction. She approaches therapeutic relationships with an open mind, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
Jeymarie’s therapeutic approach is usually a combination of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy (for the younger clients). Her goal is to empower, motivate, and inspire change with the knowledge, support, and evidenced-based tools and/or practices that she has acquired on her own personal and professional journey.
