Introduction
My career in behavioral healthcare spans almost two decades, including over 12 years in private practice. In addition to individual and family counseling I have facilitated group work in trauma, substance abuse, family systems and eating disorders.
I believe that every individual, regardless of where they are in life, deserves a space for emotional healing and personal growth. My approach is characterized by authenticity, active listening, and unconditional positive regard, creating an environment where transformation is not only possible but inevitable. From the strength of the therapeutic connection, I am able to address a variety of individual issues including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders and complex trauma.
After completing work at the Harvard Graduate School for Education, I have grown passionate about supporting parents and adolescents navigating the challenges associated with parenting a digital generation. I work with school aged children, adolescents, and parents on issues such as boundary setting, feeling like they’re not connecting, co-parenting issues, and healthy communication skills. I am deeply committed to helping families build compassionate resilient relationships and rediscovering the joy in their connection.
